When chronic movement issues affected the facade of Wesham Hospital's main building, Mitchell's Scaffolding Ltd were contracted to design and implement a bespoke scaffolding solution: the structure would allow workers to complete a remedial shoring-up project to prevent further movement.
The shoring-up work was projected to take up to 12 months and so the design of our scaffolding structure had to be substantial. Our expert team worked out the best plan and quickly implemented it, allowing contractors to begin work immediately. Weekly inspections were carried out throughout the project to ensure everything was in order: unauthorised access was prevented with robust fencing.
St Mary's College, located in a residential area, required extensive repointing to the chimney stack and facade, necessitating a temporary scaffolding solution. To meet complex contractor requirements, our team constructed scaffolding in three phases, erecting hoardings and debris netting as required to ensure safety to both contractors and the public.
Fixings were not required to be continually removed and reattached, thanks to an integral gated entry point that our expert team incorporated into the bespoke scaffold structure design.
