Browsholme Estate Burnley

Phase 2 of work on the Tenanted Estate adjacent to Burnley Football clubs hallowed ground "Turf Moor" is now well underway as the next stage of property improvement continues.

This large estate comprising of occupied houses and flats is having a major refurbishment with all properties requiring scaffold to enable the works to be undertaken by various trades joiners, Gas Engineers and Render works all require access for their specific works.

High standards of housekeeping are a must to reduce and where possible prevent; inconvenience to residents of the area.

Quite a number of the roads provide restricted access with narrow access and large grassed communal areas. Meaning full access is not always the easiest when accommodating the scaffold wagons.all aspects of the work are under strict timing and parking constraints.  

Mitchell's are working closely with site and contract management to keep to the plan with the first large sets of Flats stripped in February.

All scaffolds require full elevation brick-guards to each working platform, hand rails to each step up on the boarded and working lifts. Internal handrails where render works require.  Full ladder access from the ground to be secured at the end of each working day thus preventing unauthorized access. Upright require padding against bumps. And the final re-positioning of satellite dish on the scaffold. This phase of the rolling contract is now nearing completion with the next phase anticipated to start shortly after.
