Full perimeter Handrail
Location: Thornley Road Accrington
Anticipated project duration 3 weeks.
This project called for full perimeter scaffold to prevent workers falling from roof a single story building situated on public playing field. Installation to allow a safe working zone for joinery maintenance to take place on the roof area.
The property was not suitable to drill to the walls of the building to keep the structure stable therefore a buttress scaffold was installed this ensures the project met all the safety requirements.
Ladders built into the structure were not appropriate, the structure was built in a public area giving unrestricted access to members of the public 24 hours a day.
